BAR: Your first step to CGB PREP: Your first step to CGR
The BAR is the required first step in obtaining your Certified Graduate Builder designation. This multiple-choice assessment measures your knowledge in the four core areas of building business management: Business Technology, Business and Finance, Project Management and Sales and Marketing. The PREP is the required first step in obtaining your Certified Graduate Remodelor designation. This multiple-choice assessment measures your knowledge in five core areas of remodeling business management: Marketing and Sales; Business Administration; Design, Estimating and Job Costing; Contracts, Liability and Risk Management.

Graduate Master Builder (GMB) Certified Graduate Remodelor™ (CGR)
Graduate Master Builder (GMB) courses are more advanced with in-depth instruction geared for experienced building professionals. Certified Graduate Remodelor™ (CGR) is an exclusive professional designation designed to emphasize business management skills as the key to a professional remodeling operation.
Master Certified New Home Sales Professional (Master CSP) Certified New Home Marketing Professional (CMP)
This designation acknowledges the continued educational achievements of graduates of the CSP program. CMP is the mid-level designation for IRM students who have completed the marketing intensive IRM courses I through IV.
Member, Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM) MIRM Emeritus
The MIRM designation is the top-level achievement for professionals in new home marketing. MIRM (Member, Institute of Residential Marketing) Emeritus is awarded to retired MIRMs who have been in good standing for a minimum of 10 years.
Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) Certified Leasing Professional (CLP)
HCCP is a specialized designation for developers, property managers, asset managers, and others working in the affordable housing industry. The Certified Leasing Professional (CLP) curriculum includes an overview of multifamily leasing and sales skills.
Registered in Apartment Management (RAM) Advanced RAM
RAM is a comprehensive educational and designation program offered to property management professionals by NAHB. The Advanced RAM Program provides a higher credential in the field of apartment management for the levels of asset managers, property supervisors, and management company owners.
Residential Construction Superintendent (RCS) Certified Active Adult Specialist In Housing (CAASH)
The RCS designation series of courses is geared toward the budding field of superintendents and can benefit current site personnel wishing to excel in this position. CAASH provides the essential knowledge, tools and skills–from conducting initial research to design considerations and features to servicing the customer.
