Bill Ward, Governmental Affairs Director
Bill Ward is the Governmental Affairs Director for HBAI, serving in that capacity since 1989. Bill is responsible for directing the research, development, and execution of state legislation and regulatory activities that provides for the establishment, protection and advancement of the home building industry in Illinois. Bill also coordinates political and grassroots activities to establish and improve the relationships between the home building industry and the state legislative and administrative bodies.

As the association's chief lobbyist, Bill reports HBAI's governmental activities to the HBAI Executive Vice President, the Legislative Committee, the Executive Board and the association's senior officers.
